Our Company

Our company was founded as aeschbacher consulting in 2003 in Basel, Switzerland.
Over the years, the firm has evolved from scientific communication and innovation management into advanced work on AI governance, Human–AI hybrid intelligence, and next-generation clinical trials.
Operating now as Aeschbacher AI for the Life Sciences, we address the growing gap between rapidly advancing AI technologies and the realities of regulated life-science environments.
Our work is grounded in decades of hands-on experience across global pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, regulatory documentation, and innovation governance.
We deliberately operate at the level of systems and architectures—focusing on how AI is embedded in organizations, how responsibilities are distributed, how decisions remain explainable, and how human expertise is preserved and strengthened over time.
Today, our work spans consultancy, research, and thought leadership, contributing to European and international discussions on AI governance, clinical innovation, and hybrid intelligence.
